Which means Miss Kurara Riyo Chia Hui Min from our class is now a MISS UNIWERSE x) someone needs to change her name ehh cannot simply be miss japan anymore youre the queen of the world woman! Arent you so proud of yourself?

On to another point, were sirong and myself the only people who think that Miss China and congeniality dont go? Or did more people's jaws hang open when the winner was announced? She looks like a peidu mama heeeheee

And Miss USA fell down!!!!!! Its really sad and unglam to fall down in a global competition like that. Lol but kinda funny too.. Next time, it would be good to hold up the hem of your skirt when you walk especially if the hem is like 5m long....

Anyhoots, Sirong, Nat, Ginny and Wenxiu have flown off to sunny USA for a 10 day trip to silicon valley. =) Im waiting for my present sirong hahahaha so shameless. But i really hope these guys stay safe and come back with my present x) so shameless again! I'll actually miss these guys man =)

I am so not looking forward to the day when i have to give up my kiddie ezlink card for the adult one.

When i was on the bus today, the bus drvier auntie asked me to stop and take out my card. She saw the birth year and she asked me, " You born in 1989 still can use this card meh? You study what school one." So when i told her, she said, "JC is two years wad. You havent finish school meh? Your year shouldn't be able to use card anymore. 18 already." Right........................

I wanted to retort "Then i go school dont need to take bus arh. Walk to school is it." I havent even turned 18 yet larh. Dont heap adult responsibilities on me please. I dont want to grow up yet. I can just imagine....

If it is one thing that MSND taught me last night, it was that kiasu-ism really pays off.

So it was with this distinctly Sporean mindset that Yong Long, Phoebe, Si Rong and I headed to Fort Canning Park at 5.45pm when the gates only open at 6.15pm (we wanted to go at 4pm but hah lateness prevails) And zomg it was so super exciting! It was like an adventure when we were let into the grounds and i tell you the stage is huge. So we embarrassed ourselves by opening up a frightfully SMALL picnic mat and just laughing alot generally. AND GET THIS, OUR SEATS WERE RIGHT NEXT TO THE CENTRE STAGE. Like we could peer over to see what the actors were doing when they squatted down.

Then it was picnic dinner for like an hour 15 minutes as we waited for the show to start. And i saw Nadhirah!! Like what were the odds! Who seems to be attached! Like zomg zomg zomg zomg... And finally the show started =)

The show was pretty good, although i thought they could have made the fairy parts more ethereal. The first part when Oberon and Titania fought, the scene change was really believable but subsequently when the setting changed to the woods, the fairy scenes were somewhat neglected i thought. Helena was amazing and so was Hermia. I really admire Lysander who broke his archilles tendon at rehearsals and still went on to act with this splint thingy. Demetrius was rather flat and one dimensional. The band of actors were really funny and its funny to watch good actors act as lousy ones. I thought Emma Yong wasnt her best in this piece, liked her other work much better. But still i admire her professionalism man. There were a couple of scenes i was just cringing for her.

After the wonderful show we went to the actors holding room and staked out there for a while. And it paid off! Coz we got to meet many of the cast members and get photos and autographs from them. And i got to talk to EMMA YONG! Wooot hahaha. Lysander (Jason Chan) was fantastic. Im a new fan i think he was warm with us and he was really keen to talk to us. His performance was memorable too. So yeay us =) i think phoebs, yong long and sirong must have thought i was crazy to want to go stake out the holding area. But given actual performance experience, the actors MUST finally leave the holding room so hah!

So heres to a wonderful night at fort canning park with SRT. Im looking forward to The Pillowman, starring Adrian Pang. As well as King Lear, like ZOMG CAN YOU IMAGINE IF I GET AN AUTOGRAPH FROM IAN MCKELLEN =) so pleaseeeeeeeee phoebs =)

I read Off Centre today. It didnt help as i expected it to. Arh the beautiful magic word. Expectations. Funny how many expectations i have and yet again how many are falling short. You have been tried and found lacking.

Haiyo i just realised my past few posts have been so angsty and rarrr.. So i have made up my mind to be a lot less stressed out and take things easy this week. So its a break from the books (actually im ALWAYS on break from the books hmm hahaha) but whatever larh im spamming my social week this week.

So besides the SOV and the spiderman3, its resonance today and im actually looking forward to it! Lol becoz theyre playing eyes on me and on harmonica too.. So exciting!

And really... There is no such thing as no time. Its really just a matter of deciding whats more important. I could have spent the time going out to watch spiderman3 to mug at home. But would i be happy? No.

So you tell me, why it should feel so wrong just to do what you want to instead of what people expect you to.

Scum Of The Earth

It's unbelievably disgraceful how some people have the nerve to make fun of music they have never heard before. People who mock music are scum of the earth and their disrespect and rudeness annoy me to no end.

Yes Nav, im talking about you.

Regardless of whether you are a musician, a music junkie or someone who listens occasionally, its only normal you are respectful to the craft. If you have never heard a chinese song or a japanese song before and when you go play with other people's ipods, its only respectful that you DIDNT mock the lyrics or the music. Yes you can make Jasmine laugh when you massacre jay chou's lyrics and make garbled sounds instead of speak the chinese words. Of course im not expecting you to break out into mandarin and say it perfectly but i know for a fact that you cant possibly have heard what you sang. Then youve gotta be deaf in both ears or just plain brainless. If you can't hear what the Japanese singer is saying coz the english is heavily accented, dont just make stuff up. Why is "tonight, tonight, tonight" so funny? Why do you have to laugh and make up lyrics. "Tonight, all the women in Asia. Tonight gather in Malaysia" when the actual lyrics are "Tonight love is racing. Tonight constellation." HUH? What the hell? Do you think its very funny to make this sorta stuff up and make fun of Japanese music which you no doubt dont listen much to, if not youll be used to all the accents. I didnt see Jasmine trying to be funny by saying such horrid things. So honestly why should you?

Maybe im being oversensitive here but i cannot stand it when you make fun of music that i hold so dear. (The japanese song in point is a Bleach opening) I dont think its very amusing and im just saddened and bothered about how you could be so disrespectful towards things youre not familar with. Of course i laugh at lyrics sometimes too but thats when they are really funny and not becoz im mashing up all the languages and coming up with crappy, inaccurate lyrics.

Next time if you dont like a song, just skip the track.

Fall From Grace

No sirree, it is not possible for you to think that i am struggling with my studies. Of course its justified to think that you should abandon the the responsiblities (i.e act in and organise this damn temesek pri thing) just coz you are worried about your Ds and Es.. And of course you must never stop to think that i could be doing worse than you but still have to settle all these before i step down. For you info, yes im worried about my Ds and Sssss but really, NOW IM REALLY WORRIED. Coz you just dumped a shit load of stuff back at me and im left to deal with it on my own again. So yes say all your sorrys and all that but really. Do you expect me to understand? Or scream a thank you in your direction? Im dealing with the same thing but i cant complain becoz since i ran for exco im gonna try and go through with ALL the responsiblities i have to. And not just dump them when my shit grades hit the roof. Humans are a real selfish bunch.

In fact humans are just scum. Darling, let's run away from here.

The Bitchy Frying Pan

Yesterday, the Pot called the Kettle black. The Frying Pan overheard and decided to bite back.

You see, i heard something that perked my ears up from yesterday's rounds of exco interviews. Pot said that one of the interviewees was so "unconfident and showed a lack of interest" and commented about the way the girl was sitting. How she slumped and showed a lack of enthuiasm. So i went into bitchy overdrive and thought of 10000000000 comebacks to shoot Pot down. But decided agst it and just grinned and put up with it. But the more i think about the it, the more unfair it sounds to me. So i decided to speak up against Pot (and incompetent idiot).

First of all, please Pot. Look around! Look at what contributions you have done for Drama Club before you open your mouth and speak up agst the interviewee. The girl has more responsibility than you in your year of serving in drama exco and shes only been here for 5 months. No confidnece? No interest? You are talking about one of our best yr1 actresses we have in this school and she's the darling who volunteered and asked me if there was anything she could do for Drama Club. Talk about initiative. That is a F------A-------R cry from what i can say about you. You think you made it into Exco very big is it? Can give me attitude about how you have your stupid life outside of Drama. Then WHY OH WHY did you join in the first place. If your damn life is such a big deal then TAKE IT. Grab your stupid life outta the exco and get outta my face, Wanna complain about how i scold you. Then perhaps you could try doing your work properly. Maybe you'll notice that i dont scold Mark. That BECAUSE HE'S DOING YOUR WORK YOU BLOODY WOMAN RARRRRR O.O You are just one of those losers who talk about how wonderful your life is. Like just shut up larh if youre not willing to put your exco post a priority and can talk to me about how you have a life outta drama you can just go fuck yourself. I can tell you that the girl, Phoebe, Alistair, Mark and myself have a more enriched life than you since we actually did what we sposed to do and we did a damn good job at it. So of course i'm in a position to comment on your work ethic and your work quality. But you are in NO position to comment on that girl's responsibility and judge her commitment and interest.

I just want to know, like really understand, why incompetent idiot joined drama. Why get a post only to shove all your responsibilities to the bottom of your priority. And you were the one who suggested merging all the roles when we first had our handover. You want the post of president so bad? Then try doing a little work PROPERLY then maybe you can talk. Id really like to see you organise dramanite at your current rate. Just quit drama larh ok? So my next batch will not have to coerce you to come for meetings. And dont bother trying for a role. Maybe youre a wonderful actor, i dont know. But given your current commitment level dont bother larh. Nobody will cast you, considering how i have poisoned everyones minds agst you. So yes just leave and let me breathe a sigh of relief. You can hate me i really dont mind.

Attack of the TPM!

You'd better watch out for the attack of the TIGHT PANTS MAN! Woohoo i can get very very high when im watching sport matches x)

Soooo yes the focus of today's softball match agst ACS was the Mr Tight Pants Man. Ok larh maybe im very mean to focus on him but TPM is really really very funny. Please dont feel bad i was laughing along with you, never at you! Hahahahaha he was really life of the match.. Ok maybe not larh but he really stole the spotlight with his ballet tightsesque softball pants.

I never understood why softballers need such tight pants. Granted there are the obvious benefits with tighter bottoms like lower air resistance (?) or something but seriously from an aesthetic point of view that has got to be one of the worse fashion faux pus in the world. If they were dark like the girls then ok thats not too bad but if they were WHITE then oh dear.. I came up with 38 reasons why hwa chong girls softball team should change their uniform, just ask phoebe shell list them out for you =) lol and when the guys are the ones wearing it.. Lol thats where Mr Tight Pants Man comes in. Softballers reading this should not be alarmed not making fun of your sport. I have true appreciation for your sport!

Hmm also to Yinghao and the rest of the guys team. Dont be disheartened! I have no clue if you guys were in top form or not coz im not a sports person but the crowd (me, huimin, prakash and the red shirts) were roaring our support for you! Haiz but knowing yinghao hell take it so personally and feel sad/sian/disappointed the entire week. O.o

Oooo on another note, our Nat has developed his drama-tic potential exponentially by graduating from crew to director in one week! Woot so everybody lets be supportive of our director's directorial debut. Nice eh im the boss, youre the director. =D This experience should stand you in good stead to join the SAF music and drama thingy wahahahahaha! Well on your way to graduating as the dramaking of our class, RULER! =)
